Submissions open Garage Film Festival 2

Garage Film Festival-2 is now open for Submissions.

If you live in Chandigarh tricity and you have made film that you would like to screen, and if you would like to meet more film makers like you from the city, this is the festival for you.

What you should submit:

  • the film should be not more that 15 mins long.
  • we want something that you've made yourself, submit your original work. You may have worked on it as a team, that's fine too.
  • doesn't make sense for the film to have a subject matter or content that may be offensive for any person, race or common sensibilities.
  • the quality of the copy of your film must be screenable, we'd rather have a clear picture of your film!

Please be available for "meet the talent" after your movie, to interact with the audience and talk about your work.

The selection will not be competitive. we just want to make sure the films are running and have suitable content :) Please don't let this stop you from being open with your political thought!

How do you submit?

You can drop off the films at two venues, depending on where you are stationed in the city.

Either, come by on any sunday between 5.30-7.30 pm at Cafe Kaffee Kuchh, Lajpat Rai Bhawan, sector 15, Madhya Marg, Chandigarh. Drop in your submission and have a cup of tea or coffee with us too!

Or call +919779078752 (Sukhmani Kohli) or +919465448652 (Varundeep Singh) and fix a point to hand it over to one of the organisers.

To know more about the films and film makers that participated last year, check out last year's festival's posts.

Not a film maker? Sign up to volunteer to make this community event a success.

This is a non-profit event, organised and conceptualised by volunteers.
